For over 15 years Technological Laboratory has been working in metallurgy, performing mechanical, chemical, technological and non-destructive tests on metallic products and welds.
Aiming to satisfy the more and more complicated requirements of the customers our laboratory is able to carry out a variety of different tests:
Room Temperature tensile test according to all national and international standards
Hot tensile up to 600°C
Impact test with Charpy-V or U notch up to -196°C
Rockwell, Brinnel and Vickers hardness
Bend, flattening, expanding, flange and fracture tests
Shear, push out and pull out tests
Using an electric furnace we can also verify the mechanical values after simulated heat treatment like aging, post weld heat treatment, step cooling, quenching and tempering
Technological Laboratory is well equipped to carry out several tests with materials subjected to different corrosive atmospheres according to national and international standards or to customer requirements.
The laboratory's metallographic department is able to offer:
Macrographics on welded or brazed joints
Macrographics to verify fibers flow
Micrographics and structure analysis
Grain size determination
Decarburation and/or adhesive oxide depth
Inclusion count check
Technological Laboratory is able to perform the following non destructive test by certified personnel:

To offer a complete range of services, Technological laboratory also has optical spectroscopic instruments to carry out chemical analysis on steels and alloys and modern PMI machines using fluorescence or optical spectroscopic instruments to identify material alloys.
